Ambika Sharma, B.Sc., B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc., MBA-HR, PGDPRA is presently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, (DUVASU), Mathura-281001, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Ambika got her first graduation degree (B.Sc.) from the Raghunath Girls Post Graduate College, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India in the year 1998. She was the recipient of Late Shri Gyan Prakash Mittal Memorial Scholarship in B.Sc. Dr. Ambika got her first professional graduation degree (B.V.Sc.&A.H.) in January 2004 from College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati under Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam, India. She was the recipient of merit scholarship during the entire five years of degree course. Dr. Ambika post graduated from College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, (DUVASU), Mathura-281001, Uttar Pradesh, India in October, 2006 in the subject Veterinary Biochemistry with a distinction. She was a recipient of merit scholarship during the second year of her post graduation. She has also received the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, India award with an appreciation certificate and a cash of rupees twenty five hundreds only at the annual convention held at IIT, Mumbai in the year 2006. During her post graduation she had also earned herself MBA-HR through distance mode from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi, India in the year 2009. After her post graduation she worked as a Scientist-A in Research and Development Division of a Private Pharmaceutical Company, Indian Herbs Research & Supply Co Ltd, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India from December 2006 to June 2009, where she was tasked with the pre- clinical, regulatory toxicity studies and technical support. During her first assignment she completed post graduate diploma in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs (PGDPRA) form Jamia Hamdard in the Year 2011 through distance mode. She joined the Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, (DUVASU) Mathura in July 2009 as an Assistant Professor and continuing till date. She is tasked with undergraduate (B.V.Sc.&A.H.) and post graduate (M.V.Sc. & M.Sc.-Biotechnology) teaching. She had been in the advisory committee of various post graduate scholars. Together with Dr. Ashish Kumar she wrote her first book "Veterinary Pharmacy" in the year 2013. She has several research publications under her credit along with various other publications. Ashish Kumar, B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc. is presently Touring Veterinary Officer, Bihar Veterinary Services at Amnour, Saran. Dr. Ashish completed his graduation (B.V.Sc.&A.H.) in January 2004 from College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati under Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Assam, India. He was the recipient of merit scholarship during the last three years of degree course. He was the Faculty Topper (1998 Batch) in his B.V.Sc.&A.H. degree programme. Dr. Ashish post graduated from College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan, (DUVASU), Mathura-281001, Uttar Pradesh, India in October, 2006 in the subject Veterinary Biochemistry with a distinction. He worked as Scientist-A in Research and Development (R&D) Division of a Private Pharmaceutical Company Indian Herbs Research & Supply Co Ltd, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India from December 2006 to January, 2010, where he was assigned with the pre-clinical, regulatory toxicity studies and laboratory animal care, breeding and management. He has also worked in the Department of Veterinary Biochemistry, Mahatma Gandhi Veterinary College, Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India as an Assistant Professor from March, 2010 to October, 2010. He was responsible for the undergraduate (B.V.Sc.&A.H.) teaching and was also the Incharge-Diagnostic Cell. He worked for the Department of Pharmacology, School of Medical Sciences and Research, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar-201306, Uttar Pradesh, India as a Veterinary Officer, Central Animal House. In December 2014, He joined the Bihar Veterinary Services and presently working as Touring Veterinary Officer. Together with Dr. Ambika Sharma he wrote his first book "Veterinary Pharmacy" in the year 2013. He has several research publications under his credit along with various other publications. He has also successfully completed the International Course on Laboratory Sciences Programme (ICLAS) based on Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA) category-C conducted jointly by CSIR-IGIB and Utrecht University, Netherlands in 2013.
