Sharon Oberne has been a classroom teacher/literacy specialist for 40 years before retiring from teaching and becoming a full-time author, host, and a teacher entrepreneur. Mrs. Oberne is a recipient of a Daily Point of Light Award from the Points of Light Foundation, National Call to Service Award, National Winner in Nickelodeon's Bright Orange Teacher Contest and Cox Cable's Educator of the Year.
