Kevin Norris is a native of Anderson, South Carolina. Born into a single-parent home, he was the oldest of three children and took a major part in helping to raise his two younger sisters. At an early age, he desired to work with different youth programs that offered creative ways to build knowledge and inspire creativity. Kevin graduated from Claflin University with a BS in child development. He's always enjoyed giving back to the community and helping to keep children educated and in tuned to creating positive environments for themselves. With this, he has created his MIRACLES Organization, which he has funded solely by himself. It offers activities and learning for children and teens of single-parent and low-income households to keep them on a positive path in their lives. Kevin's love for writing started with short scripts, plays, and poems and has aspired into novels and children books. He is making major moves in the community, not only through his youth programs, but also in hosting poetry fund-raisers, speaking engagements, and producing uplifting talk shows to inspire people of the upstate.
