About the Author Jessiey James, the author, lives on one of the Great Lakes with her husband and adult children, along with one puppy dog and an old, but rambunctious cat. Jessiey is also a Senior Writer and loving it. She enjoys sewing, gardening, swimming and is absolutely nuts over genealogy. Going to Aunt Jessie's House was her first self-published children's book with Xlibris. To-date, she has self-published nine children's stories and has several more coming. About the Illustrator Carolyn Mottern is a part-time illustrator who lives on a farm in Pennsylvania. She is a public school teacher, teaching visual arts and enjoys spending time with her students, her children, and her husband. In addition to teaching art, she also enjoys working with students in musical theater and spending time with her extended family. To-date, Mrs. Mottern has illustrated eight of Jessiey James books.
