May is a travel writer, a biographer, columnist and psychic. She writes a popular weekly horoscope column for the San Francisco Chronicle under the pen name Minerva, and lectures on parapsychology at universities, colleges, and elsewhere world
wide.

As a psychic researcher whose work has been the subject of such TV documentaries as IN THE SEARCH OF and THE WORLD OF PEOPLE, she has done extensive work on haunted houses, places and sites in California.

Her ADVENTURES OF A PSYCHIC, coauthored with Sylvia Browne, was 42 weeks on the best seller list.

May is the recipient of the pretigous PLUMA de PLATA award from the Mexican government for excellence in travel writing, and has written articles: COSMOPOLITAN, COUNTRY LIVING, VICTORIA, SELF, and VIA.
