I moved on in life, but for over forty years, my heart, my thoughts, my pain dragged within. I wondered if would I ever get closure, if would I truly live this life and that more abundantly. I just wanted to unpack the years of baggage that stayed snuggled within my heart and mind. I just wanted answers. I just wanted to see and hear childhood friends I hadnt seen since fifth grade. What did everyone look like? What had resulted from their lives? Would I ever catch up? There had been such a void, like watching a normal hour-and-a-half movie that ended only after fifteen minutes into it, and…mehr
There had been such a void, like watching a normal hour-and-a-half movie that ended only after fifteen minutes into it, and next you see scrolling across the screen The End. But its all behind me now. The great God that I serve is a man that cannot lie. His promises have been yea and amen. He allowed me to journey along and discover that he was there all the time, and at age fifty, my closure came. The enemy was exposed. I am set free, and my journey continues as I go forward with God right there with me, helping others to be set free of past trauma, pain, and torment. The devil is a lie. We are victorious. We are what God said we are, fearfully and wonderfully made, and we were predestined to be more than a conqueror, and he came that we would have life and live more abundantly. Be encouraged and never forget he is there all the time.

Autorenporträt
Judy was physically born in Xenia, Ohio, in the year 1961 and spiritually born and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1978. She was raised in Dayton, Ohio. Judy's last name at birth was Tramell. It was her mother's last name at the time, and during that era, women could not give their children the father's name unless they were married to him. Judy's mom always said her girls would one day get married and their names would change. That is what eventually happened in her life. She was married to both of her children's father, and later in 1999, Judy married Booker T. Washington, and they are still happily together. Judy grew up being called Judy, Julie, or Lin. There was a time along her journey that all the last-name stuff troubled her and stirred up a lot of curiosity, but eventually, she grew tired of the issue of a name. Later she discovered the word name, and its importance where God was concerned is when he said there was no other name given to man that which we must be saved, and that name was Jesus. Our true identity is the bloodline of Jesus, so that ended that. Ha! Ha! Ha! (Laughing at the devil.) After high school and a few years of college, Judy got into the banking field. Even today she is currently employed at a bank. Just as she provides support to other bankers in her field, she provides support within her community as well. Judy plans to retire this year 2014 and go full time into the ministry. Judy is a chaplain at one of the local hospitals and a certified emergency and disaster response team chaplain for the fire and police departments. She spends numerous hours ministering to the homeless, from feeding and clothing, to praying with them. One of Judy's passion and gift is bringing God's people together to fellowship. She has hosted Christian movie nights, with individuals overflowing in a packed room to be fed through the ministry of a spiritual movie and a spoken word from a speaker. Judy created an atmosphere of not just fellowship but of love, tears joy, shoulders to lean on, and hugs for the wounded. She saw people leave those nights in a different way than what they came in, and she is thankful and gives God all the honor and all the glory. Judy has two beautiful children-her son, Kevin, and her daughter, India. And from that seed are two grandchildren, Aanyah and Lyrik, and a precious grandpoodle (Midnight). Judy cannot be more proud and thankful for the seeds God has allowed and entrusted her to love, train, and share the Lord with. Today Judy spends time with her siblings that she grew up with and her mother, and they make new memories along their journey. She recalls hearing her dad say, "You are to love your sister and brother, for they are all that you have." And coming from him, that was a command, a command that was carried out, and they are a close family today as they were back then.
