Rabbi Douglas Goldhamer, PhD, DD, lives in Evanston, Illinois, with his wife, soulmate, and co-author Peggy Bagley. He helped found Chicago's Congregation Bene Shalom, is a Professor of Jewish Mysticism and Associate Professor of Philosophy, and co-authored This is for Everyone. Chicago Jewish News placed him among "Ten Outstanding Jewish Leaders in Chicago" in 2007.
