Ashley Mellinger is an undergraduate student at Eastern Mennonite University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing. Between the hours working as an EMT and firefighter, Ashley is a debut novelist sharing her light and life through her work. She wrote the novel throughout high school to give it an authentic feel. When she is not working through full semesters and saving lives, Ashley lives in the small Pennsylvania town that inspired her book with her family, dogs, and many wonderful stories.
