Autorenporträt
John H. Garot earned a BA degree at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and an MA degree at Arizona State University. Following, he joined the military for two years in the Vietnam era, and then taught secondary school. Later, Garot launched a career in industry with the Miller Brewing Company, the Outboard Marine Corporation, and Motorola and Motorola Cellular, specializing in advertising, sales promotion, and PR. In retirement, he returned to teaching at the college level, and is now an associate professor.
