Autorenporträt
JOHN MACKAY was born in Glasgow. He is a familiar face as the anchor-man on the STV news and presenter of Scotland's most popular current affairs programme 'Scotland Tonight'. His career in journalism started at The Sunday Post, then the BBC before spending most of it as the face of STV News. He has reported on many of the major stories in Scotland in recent times, including the Lockerbie bombing, the Dunblane shootings, the creation of the Scottish Parliament and the Independence Referendum. His novels have all been Scottish best sellers and draw strongly on his family's Hebridean background.
