An old man is lying in a nursing home and realizes that he is going to die that day. His granddaughter comes to see him, but he doesn't remember much about her since his memory is poor. He thinks over his life and interacts with his granddaughter as he waits to cross over. His brother who died years ago comes to take him home to the Other Side. His brother tells him how much fun they will have there and how everyone is excited he is finally coming home. His life is over here, so he is looking forward to seeing his wife and family members again and recount what happened in their lives. This short story is suitable for all age groups.
