Heaven Sent is a story I began writing several years before my mother passed away. I discovered the unfinished story months after she died, and I became determined to finish the story in honor of my mother. I began a writing class at my job, where my instructor encouraged me to begin writing daily. Heaven Sent made me look through the clouds from earth. Images came to me every time I wrote: images of angels and family members that had passed onto heaven.

As a child Nelda Davis always spent a great deal of time trying to imagine what heaven is like. Throughout her childhood she used her imagination to write stories. As Nelda became older she wrote about life situations that most of us face.
