Nina Chakrabarti hat Illustration am Central Saint Martin's College und am Royal College of Art in London studiert. Ihre Inspirationsquellen sind ihre Kindheit in Kalkutta und die Ausgelassenheit Londons, wo sie heute lebt und arbeitet.
