This book originated from my conversation with my 7-year-old son, Erjok, who loves bugs and insects, as well as his desire to explore the universe to discover different kinds of insects and bugs around our galaxy. As a Soldier, I have away most of my children's young lives. This book is my attempt to establish a conversation with my children that I am hoping will connect us for life in a fun way. Additionally, I desire to inspire all children in our world, particularly African children in the Diaspora and in the Motherland to see themselves in the world of printed imaginations and natural science that discuss the importance of ecosystems, and contributions of all creatures to our environment. This book is meant to inspire young readers to explore their natural surroundings, and to appreciate the little creatures that are normally taken for granted or dismissed as nuisance.
