Autorenporträt

Patricia Pisio hails from Hamilton, Ontario. She studied at Loretto Academy and St. Mary's High School before completing her degree at McMaster University and attending Brock Teacher's College in St. Catharines. Prior to teaching, Patricia gained experience in the 70s as a "Kelly Girl" at a local department store, her passion for business inspired by her teacher, Ms. Gail Stewart. Her first love introduced her to music but, truly, it was her second fiancé who captured her heart. Her love of music was also nurtured through her time with the Bach Elgar Choir under Drs. Charles Wilson and Don Kendrick. As a soprano, she had the privilege of singing under the direction of the late Maestro Boris Brott, who made a lasting impression on her musical journey. Patricia later joined the MAC Choir, led by the late Dr. Frank Thorolfson.

After a rewarding career in education, Patricia now enjoys a well-deserved retirement with her Yorkie-poo, Sadie, residing in a vibrant condo community where she previously served on the board of directors. Embracing a fresh creative pursuit, Patricia was encouraged by friends and family to write her first book.
