This book is a collection of letters written from differing perspectives of working with children in care. It is common to hear the story of foster care from a foster childs perspective. I believe this is absolutely necessary. However, I also believe there are some key components that are left out. The story from the other side also needs to be told. The story from those who help foster children need to be validated so that a full and accurate picture is painted. I hope this book helps the state, the nation, and the world recognize a little better the true dynamics of our foster and adoptive families.
