Dr. Jürgen Giessing is a professor of sports science at the University of Koblenz-Landau in Germany and teaches training science and sports medicine at the Landau campus. His main field of research is the process of training, physiological adaptation to training and factors that are relevant for muscle building. Professor Giessing is a renowned expert on High Intensity Training and has published several books and studies on HIT in German.
