Autorenporträt
Scarlett Campbell grew up in Traverse City, a town in Northern Michigan. After attending Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City and Dade Junior College in Florida, Scarlett was hired as a flight attendant for a major airline, flying for 27 years. During those years, she was constantly in search of where she fits in this world. Joining Toastmasters, Scarlett won many speech competitions and also studied acting before meeting her first husband. The following six years were enjoyed raising their daughter before the couple divorced. Scarlett spent the next twelve years raising her daughter alone. During that time she continued flying and became interested in understanding the essence of self-esteem. Eventually, she created a seminar series which led to the basic format of her book. Scarlett is a certified Life Coach and a certified Parenting Programmer, which is a practice offering alternative ways of raising children to help reduce child abuse. She has owned and operated her own Embroidery business since 2002. Scarlett now lives in the Georgia Mountains near Jasper, Georgia with her husband, Mark, along with their dog, Chantel.
