Keeping hope live is the antidote against despair. Yes, "weeping (sorrow) may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" (Psalm 30:5). It profoundly elucidates the fact that sometimes, our present sufferings and pains might be means God is using to purify us, prepare and equip his chosen for a future full of hope and above all for our salvation. Every condition no matter how bad it seems to appear has an expiration date and therefore, the book encourages us in all our destress, that God still holds us in his merciful hands. It very eloquently states that no matter how ugly the situations we face look, that is not all there is about them. The problems don't tell the whole story.
