This book delved into what is an elusively simple question: What did (or does) Jesus look like? Also, it systematically and meticulously discusses some related issues, which often receive quick but unsubstantiated comments or responses from some people. This search is not limited to any scientific or historical presumptions, but rather a total and holistic search for the potential human appearance of Christ. The author employs a unique but multidimensional methodology to search for the "true face" of Jesus from biblical, theological, spiritual, historical, anthropological, social, as well as artistic perspectives based on his personal reflections, relevant scriptural scans, consultations, research, and theological deductions.
Aside from other notable discoveries (as discussed in its chapters), the unconventional, analytical, and multidimensional aspects of this exploration are among what distinguish it from other related works. Moreover, it reflects on and theoretically discusses the potential human personality and physical appearance of Jesus when he was on earth as a type that might have been "universal" as well as reconciles and unifies all peoples.
