Autorenporträt
Native Nebraskan Gretchen Garrison loves to explore the stories that define her state. Understanding more about Nebraska's places and people, both past and present, has become her mission. She considers it a privilege that she gets to tell these tales through her articles, books and speaking engagements. Gretchen and her husband, Kyle, are raising their four kids on a southeast Nebraska acreage property that came with the best sunrises. Her first History Press book, Detour Nebraska: Historical Destinations and Natural Wonders, was published in 2017.
