Serge R. Pospelov, was born in USSR, graduated from military school and Artillery Academy in St.Petersburg during collapse of USSR Later he served in artillery units in different parts of Russia . After his disillusionment with life in Russia and Russian Army he came to the decision to leave the country, unsuccessfully trying to immigrate to Norway or Iraq what lead him to his imprisonment under suspicion of espionage. Has been released without trial, he lived under the constant FSB surveillance until a daring escape took him from Russia to Belarus, then Poland, and ultimately to Canada.
