Zohl d+ Ishtar is the author of Daughters of the Pacific and the editor of Pacific Women Speak Out for Independence and Denuclearisation. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005 and is currently a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Queensland's Australian Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies.
