F. Sharon Swope brought her four children up to be lovers of the imagination and the written word. Spurred by the success of one of her daughters, children's book author Allyn M. Stotz, Sharon decided at age 82 that if she was ever going to write the many books that had been bouncing around in her mind since she was a small child, she better get started. She sat down and created The Fate Series, which is co-authored by her other daughter Genilee Swope Parente.Holiday Connections is Sharon's first published book of short stories. In between writing The Fate Series, her short stories have been published in several magazines. She was also a hometown columnist for her newspaper, The Edgerton Earth, for a quarter of a century.
