This book describes the change management process for implementing a digital business model via the holistic Organization 4.0 MITO configuration management approach. The content chapter structure with the explanation of the different transformation design views is based on the higher-level operational control loop principle within the MITO model segments with. This book is a translation of the original German 1st edition Ganzheitliche Businessmodell-Transformation by Hartmut F. Binner, published by Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH, part of Springer Nature in 2020. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation by the service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation. Springer Nature works continuously to further the development of tools for the production of books and on the related technologies to support the authors.

With the support of these model structures and the MITO method tool with many practical application examples, a goal-oriented change management process for digital business model transformation is achieved together with systematic process digitization.
The Content
  • Systematic business model development and design
  • Systematic process organization development and design
  • Method-based integrated process-related leadership and management system development
  • Systematic digitization master plan development and implementation

The Target Groups
  • Independent of industry, company size and process, for all managers in the organization who have to deal with change management (i.e., everyone!), e.g., engineers, business people, human resources specialists, logisticians, sociologists
