Autorenporträt

Nadia Fall completed an MA in directing at Goldsmiths University of London and attended the National Theatre's Directors programme. As a director her work includes Dara (National Theatre); Hobson's Choice (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre); Chewing Gum Dreams (The Shed, National Theatre); Untold Stories (National Theatre/West End); The Doctor's Dilemma (National Theatre); Disgraced (Bush); How Was It For You (Unicorn); Sticks and Stones (Polka). She was Associate Director on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (directing the West End transfer), Collaborators and The Habit of Art, and has been staff director on Rocket to the Moon, Really Old, Like Forty Five, Phèdre and Much Ado About Nothing at the National. She also assisted Neil Bartlett on Oliver Twist. She is artistic director of Naach Theatre Company: productions include Genet's The Maids (Lyric Hammersmith/mac, Birmingham); Strindberg's Miss Julie (Lyric Hammersmith/ Warehouse Theatre/The Bull); The Fastest Clock in the Universe (Ovalhouse); and a site-specific production of Joe Penhall's Wild Turkey in Old Street. She directs at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, most recently directing their final year production of Aces and Jacks by David Mamet, runs the Unicorn Theatre's Young Company, and has led numerous participation initiatives with partners such as the Young Vic, Clean Break, Soho Theatre and the Royal Court. She is also an acting coach, supporting professional actors for film and stage. Home is her first play.
