Michael E. Vigil was born and raised in the Arctic City of iqaluit, Canada. He attended Inuksuk High School where he discovered his love for literature, philosophy, and science. After graduating high school, he worked in the fishing and sealing industries. He now resides in Edmonton, Alberta, and spends his off-days exploring the Canadian frontier.
