Autorenporträt
Jessie Vanderpool studied professional writing at the University of Oklahoma and has published short and book-length stories and a novella, "Tender Pain." Her young adult novels are "Searching for Home" and "Jenary Stakes a Claim." She has written contemporary and historical novels as well as children's picture books, including "Christmas Dreams Come True." With a degree in psychology and a master's from the University of Oklahoma, Jessie Vanderpool has taught psychology classes from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She is also a practicing family psychotherapist.
