Jonathan W. Thurston is a gay, HIV-positive writer in Lansing, Michigan. His previous book, Straight Men, was recommended for an ALAA Over the Rainbow award and a Lambda Literary Award, and also heavily praised by Publishers Weekly. He has also delved into nonfiction with Blood Criminals: Living with HIV in 21st Century America through Weasel Press.
