As the characters-some that might appear to have familiar aspects-make their way through the year, their hopes, fears, secrets, dreams, plans, disasters, and nightmares all come out in ways that they could never have imagined. With horse scents, horse sense, and nonsense in abundance, this collection of short stories follows an interconnected set of people over the course of a year, through triumph and tragedy.

Autorenporträt

Marc D. Hasbrouck was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City, majoring in graphic design and advertising. After living and working in the Boston area for five years, he moved to Georgia, where he currently lives. He and his wife, Gaylin, are parents and grandparents, horse, cat and dog lovers, world travelers, and avid readers. This is Marc's first book.
