How Can Homo Sapiens Survive and Manage the Changes of the 21st Century?" explores how human intelligence, rather than money, is the crucial factor in addressing contemporary challenges. Through the development of the AMRI Model - Conscious, Multidimensional and Relative Intelligences, the author proposes a multidimensional approach to understanding and responding to the environmental, social, economic and cultural changes of our time.

The central thesis of the book argues that people's intelligence is the fundamental driver of human discoveries and inventions, capable of promoting human well-being and progress. Intelligence, which is neither acquired with money nor inherited genetically, is developed through a continuous and dynamic process of interaction between the individual and society. This process connects the mental potential of individuals with the needs of others and the environmental, economic and cultural reality in which they live.

The book argues that only through the proper development and utilisation of human intelligence is it possible:

1. Manage the radical changes produced by human activity that are compromising the Earth.
2. Create a balanced and harmonious system of well-being between human needs and the natural, social, cultural and economic environment.
3. Managing man-made artificial intelligence.

The AMRI NeuroMental Evolutionary Model, based on the principle that the human brain is capable of forming a mental universe capable of representing, conceptualising and predicting events in external reality, offers a clear direction on how to deal with the problems of the 21st century.

Human brain activities are organised into different types of basic logic-intellectual abilities:1.Experimental-Operational Bodily Intelligence: based on sense-motor skills.
2. Functional-Situational Emotional Intelligence: based on intuitive psychic abilities.
3.Rational Structural-Constructive Intelligence: based on logic-cognitive skills.4.Hypothetical-Generative Creative Intelligence: based on ideational-imaginative abilities.5.Symbolic-Systemic Reflective and Communicative Intelligence: based on conceptualisation and meta-thinking skills. In the 21st century, with the spread of mass media and computer networks, further innovative mental abilities have emerged:

6. Meta-Communicative Relational-Symbolic Intelligence: based on linguistic-socialising mental abilities.
7. Logical-Cognitive Meta-Cognitive Intelligence: based on logical-cybernetic mental abilities.
8. Meta-Emotional Imaginative-Sensitive Intelligence: based on predictive-predictive mental abilities.

These new mental skills enable 21st century man to understand and manage radical changes while respecting human rights and the rights of all living beings and using money, media and technology without these dominating people's daily lives.

The book offers a defined vision of how man can face and solve the problems of the 21st century by enhancing his mental and intellectual capacities.
