Archibald Williams (1886-1963) was a British author and historian. He is known for his works on military history, including "The Romance of War Inventions" (1916), "The Romance of Modern Invention" (1919), "The Romance of Aircraft" (1921), and "The Romance of the British Navy" (1925). Williams served in the British Army during World War I and his experience during the war heavily influenced his writing. He was also a prolific author of adventure stories and science fiction, writing under various pseudonyms such as "Archibald Williams", "William Wilson", and "Anthony Wingrave".
