Elizabeth Breaux is one of the most practical, down-to-earth, informative, and entertaining authors and speakers in education today. She has spoken to audiences across the country. She leaves them laughing, crying, and certain that they have chosen the right profession-teaching. She is the author of Classroom Management-SIMPLIFIED; How to Reach and Teach ALL Students SIMPLIFIED; How the BEST TEACHERS Avoid the 20 Most Common Teaching Mistakes; and the co-author, with her sister Annette Breaux, of Real Teachers, Real Challenges, Real Solutions.

A former curriculum coordinator and classroom teacher, she currently trains and supports new teachers in Lafayette, LA. Also, she is one of the coordinators of TIPS, an induction program for new teachers in Lafayette, LA. In addition, she trains assessors for the Louisiana Department of Education and is an international presenter for the Bureau of Education and Research.

Liz has taught and worked with at-risk students for 25 years and believes that there is not a more challenging and rewarding job in the world. Her message has always been a simple one: "I cannot teach my students until I reach my students."

Monique Boutte Magee is an innovative, practical, "think-out-of-the-box" middle school administrator. She is currently the principal at Lafayette Middle School in Lafayette, LA, and has served as an administrator for eight years in the public school system.

Monique has assisted her teachers in transitioning from the traditional methods of instructing to the differentiated, tech-savvy, modern age of teaching. Because she keeps abreast of the current trends and best practices in education through the use of a data-driven curriculum coupled with modern "new practices" in education, she has assisted her teachers in improving standardized test scores and the school's annual yearly performance by 18 points in 5 years.

Monique has been an educator for 15 years and has worked with all types of learners. She believes all children can learn given the motivation, the appropriate curriculum, innovative teaching techniques, and an impeccable teacher. Monique became an educator to make a difference in the lives of children and has made a difference in the lives of many.
