This book lists the tools required and materials needed to make a laminate countertop. It will instruct the used in the design and measurements needed to match your cabinets. It teaches how to layout the design on the building material and to cut the pieces required to build the countertop blank . Once the backsplash and countertop blank are made, the plastic laminate is cut to the proper sizes. It is applied in the correct order to the various pieces, cleaned, routed and filed smooth. Then the backsplash and top are assembled together and the user is quided in installing the countertop on the cabinets.

Autorenporträt

John W. Fuller is a retired cabinet maker and laminator. He started out in a cabinet shop installing cabinets and tops and then worked in every area of the shop producing and assembling cabinets and countertops. The majority of his 14 years in the shop he made countertops and frameless laminated cabinets. He has made wooden countertops, wood bar tops, a copper bar top and many plastic laminate tops with the various facings of laminate, wood, beveled laminate or other molded products. He lives with his wife on a hobby farm in Minnesota spending his time on family genealogy and painting acrylic landscapes.
