Gini Graham Scott has published over 50 books with mainstream publishers, focusing on social trends, work and business relationships, and personal and professional development. Some of these books include Scammed (Allworth Press, 2016), Lies and Liars: How and Why Sociopaths Lie and How to Detect and Deal with Them (Skyhorse Publishing 2016), The New Middle Ages (Nortia Press 2014), and The Very Next New Thing (ABC-Clio 2010). Other recent books are Turn Your Dreams into Reality (Llewellyn 2015), What Kind of Dog Are You? (TouchPoint Press 2016), When the Rich Kill (Black Rose Writing) and The Anger Book (Changemakers Publishing 2016). A number of her recent books started out as ghostwriting projects which became co-writes, including American Justice with Paul Brakke (TouchPoint Press 2016), Credit Card Fraud with Jen Grondahl Lee (Rowman & Littlefield 2016), At Death's Door with Sebastian Sepulveda (Rowman & Littlefield 2017), and Growing Up in Nazi Germany with Wolf Dettbarn and Penny Dettbarn (Truman University Press 2017). Scott has gained extensive media interest for previous books, including appearances on Good Morning America, Oprah , CNN, and hundreds of radio interviews. She has frequently been quoted by the media and has set up websites to promote her most recent books, featured at www.ginigrahamscott.com and www.changemakerspublishing.com. She has a regular Huffington Post column, www.huffingtonpost.com/gini-graham-scott, since December 2012, and most recently she has written about a number of social trends. She has written, produced, and sometimes directed over 60 short videos, which are featured on her Changemakers Productions website at www.changemakersproductions.com and on YouTube at www.youtube.com/changemakersprod. Two of her feature films, which are in release or have distribution arrangements, deal with social issues and crime. One is The Suicide Party #Save Dave, about a once middle class businessman who is about to lose it all and decides with friends to crowdfund a suicide party to raise money to get back on his feet. The other is Driver about a Uber-like driver who becomes a serial killer. Her next feature film, which goes into preproduction in the fall 2016 is Brain Swap, about an older wealthy businessman who is losing everything and decides to transfer his brain into the body of a younger man who has just died. But after a mix-up at the hospital, his brain is transferred into the body of a wanted criminal, leading to all kinds of complications. Scott has a PhD in sociology from U.C. Berkeley and MAs in Anthropology, Pop Culture and Lifestyles, and Mass Communications and Organizational/Consumer/Audience Behavior from Cal State, East Bay. She is working towards an additional M.A. in Communication to be completed in 2017. She is also a member of numerous business groups, including the Lafayette and Danville Chambers of Commerce.
