Akademische Arbeit aus dem Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: This paper investigates the concept of human capital management. Human Capital Management according to Baron and Armstrong (2007) and supported by Kalitanvi and Goldman (2021); is the set of practices for the purpose of the recruitment, management, development, and optimization of employees within industries such that their value and contribution to the companies are maximized. The authors further highlight how human capital management plays an important and decisive part in ensuring the hiring of the right talents, satisfying the required skill sets to sustain the company’s workforce, the effective management of employees, and the proportional increase of productivity. Hossain and Roy (2016) emphasize the fact that human capital management is concerned with the analysis and reporting of the acquisition process of companies, such that the latter can have informed management. The main management here is of the human capital which, according to Alika and Alibieyi (2014), is the representation of humans in terms of their intelligence, the skills they may. Human Capital can pose both as a challenge in terms of the identification of relevant measures and the provision of information in respect to a company, and as an opportunity when it comes to the evaluation and maximization of people's value.
Autorenporträt
My name is Bandar Naji Ali Hezam, and I am from Yemen. Growing up, I was always interested in technology and how things worked. However, my parents did not have any background in engineering, so it was up to me to explore this interest on my own. After completing my secondary education in Yemen, I decided to pursue a degree in mechatronics engineering at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation. I was attracted to this field because it combines mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering, and I knew that it would provide me with a solid foundation in a wide range of technical skills. Studying at Asia Pacific University was an enriching experience. I met people from all over the world, and I was exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking. The program was challenging, but I enjoyed every moment of it. I learned about the principles of mechanics, electronics, and computing, and how they all come together to create complex systems. After graduating with my degree, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Business Administration at University of Cyberjaya. I wanted to expand my knowledge beyond the technical aspects of engineering and learn more about business and management. The program was rigorous, but it gave me a deep understanding of finance, marketing, organizational behavior, and other important business topics. With my education and skills, I started my career as a mechatronics engineer. I have worked for several companies over the years, designing and developing complex systems for a variety of industries. I have always been passionate about my work, and I have enjoyed every project that I have worked on. In my free time, I like to read books and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and engineering. I also like to travel and experience new cultures and ways of life. Looking back on my life so far, I am proud of what I have accomplished. As someone who did not have any background in engineering in my family, I am particularly proud of my achievements. I hope to continue to learn and grow as an engineer and as a person, and to make a positive impact in the world.
