Dave Egan has been involved in ecological restoration for twenty-five years, including editing the journal, Ecological Restoration, and writing The Historical Ecology Handbook. Evan E. Hjerpe, Ph.D., works for The Wilderness Society in Anchorage, Alaska, as an ecological economist with an emphasis on forest management. Jesse Abrams, Ph.D., isvisiting assistant professor of sociology and environmental studies at Whitman College in Walla Walla,Washington.
