After publishing nearly forty novels, I still love my career. At this time I feel I'm in the prime of life, and look back on many wonderful memories. I was born in Michigan, but the rambling stopped only recently, and I've lived all over the country, settling finally in Florida. I've majored in archaeology and computer science, and fell into writing only because I've loved it since I was nine. I am married, with a blended family that includes five children, ranging in age from 9 to 29. Oh, and don't let me forget the two dogs. Trust me, I am never bored. I consider myself a dilettante, having dabbled in a great many different jobs and interests over the years, but I also consider being a dilettante essential to being a writer.
