Terrie Daughtry was inspired by Bennie Frank's dogged obsession with his therapy dog work, to pen his journey from stray puppy, to proud dog with a purpose. Terrie simply holds the leash for this Alabama common dog as he charms his way into hearts and minds. A former registered nurse, Terrie and her 2 therapy dogs have travelled the country to support victims of floods, tornados, mass shootings, hurricanes, as well as local programs. Terrie and Bennie Frank live on a farm with husband, Joe, and Bennie Frank's pet cat, Sammy Joe. Bennie Frank's exploits are posted to Instagram as I Bennie Frank.
