Being born with visual and physical impairments brought many challenges into my life. Facing Obstacles, tests, and trials were a part of my daily routine. Trying to fit in with society and its way of doing things, was a constant reminder of how different I was. Feeling the need for acceptance and validation led me down a pathway of hurt, pain, and disappointment. I didn't know who I was or why I was. I learned how to survive but lacked understanding of why I would survive. I don't know nor will I understand why things happen the way they do. What I do know is that my encounter with Jesus Christ would be the beginning of a new life for me. A life of love, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
