Autorenporträt
Jadde K. Astrie also known in the past as Natalia Loaiza Villada, name with which she appears in her first book published and titled "Puedo Ver Claramente," recently reedited and also published in English as "I can See Clearly". She was born in Pereira (Colombia) in 1979. She grew up in Bogota city. She started her studies to become a lawyer, and when she was twenty two years old, she decided to leave her country to move to New York City and develop her literary passion. Her father Hernando Loaiza who has already passed away taught her eagerly the love for books, painting and art in general. Her mother Maria del Carmen Villada who has also passed away taught her the love and respect for nature, animals and other people, making her understand that creativity is infinite and can be expressed in a thousand ways. The author has also participated in Internet radio and has contributed with articles of mystic and spiritual style for the magazine of the same radio station, Esencia, located in Uruguay. Journalist, researcher, priestess and also graduated in healing through channeled energy, has studied deeply the Zohar, Shamanism, Sufism and Contemporary Spirituality. She enjoys playing the guitar in her free time. She strongly supports progressive ideas, environmental conservation, domestic and wild animal rights protection, and human rights, especially the rights of those disadvantaged men, women and children by considering them independent beings capable, integral and with a strong role in society.
