"I Don't Share!" One Black Woman's Perspective on Polyamory is a short, yet informative think piece on the polyamorous community and its misguided relationship (or lack thereof) with the American "Black" community. The author, a 30-something "Black" woman in America, uses the breakdown of common (and frequently misused) trigger words that describe the concept of polyamory and the reasons so many American "Black" people are offended by it. Within this think piece, the author breaks down the definitions of not only the concept itself, but also seemingly basic words within the concept's definition to give the reader a more in-depth understanding of what a lot of the commonly basic words we use daily actually mean by their original definitions. You'd be surprised how many common words we, as a whole, use incorrectly. This short read is for those who are either triggered, intrigued or simply curious about the polyamory community. Its intent is NOT to sway you in either way regarding the concept, but to expand your mind and perspective surrounding what can be considered a taboo styled way to love.
