Autorenporträt

Karen Miles was born in in 1968. Since she was a little girl she made her own greetings cards for her family and often wrote poems for them. She went to Grammar school where she enjoyed English and Art and wrote the occasional article for the school magazine. She left Grammar school at 16 and studied to be a Beauty therapist. She lived in England up to the age of 19 ,then travelled extensively around the world until she settled in Milan, Italy, nine years ago with her three children where she really enjoys her role as a mum and takes her poetry much more seriously these days.
