He is a retired corporate and banking executive who was born in Forsyth County, North Carolina, graduated from Wingate College, Wake Forest Universty and achieved an M.B.A. from The University of Evansville. He was capitivated by family stories of his ancestors actions in the 18th century. The American revolutiuon provided him with a diverse landscape of exceptional heroism for his work.
