One hikers day by day account of personal challenges, victories, and defeats during a 2019 thru hike of the 2,650mile Pacific Crest Trail. An attempt to capture what I felt like day in and day out and the things that I experienced along the way. I also detailed some of the mistakes that I made on trail so that readers might be inclined to avoid these blunders and have a safer and easier hike. There is also a basic gear list in the back of the book for anyone wondering what equipment I use to crush miles...

Autorenporträt
I was born and raised in Northern Indiana in 1987 where I developed a love for the outdoors as a child. That, combined with playing sports and Wrestling throughout my years coming up through school inspired me to join the Army after graduating from High School. I did that for a few years and then I got Discharged for (Drug Abuse) as it read on my DD214. I went on Partying, drinking, and using drugs for some time and after getting into more trouble in my twenties and struggling with addiction I ultimately figured out how to crush that lifestyle through running, hiking, and adventure sports. Now a large part of my purpose in life is to pass that on to others and try to impact people to become healthier and get outdoors.
