Ihor Myronovych Kalynets is a poet and novelist, one of the leading representatives of the so-called "late sixties" generation and the dissident self-publishing movement in Ukraine, a political prisoner. Lives and works in Lviv. Honorary doctor of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Selected poems and fairy tales from different periods of his work were included in the collection of works of Ihor Kalynets, one of the finest, most sophisticated, and at the same time the most courageous and indomitable Ukrainian poets of the second half of the 20th century.
