A literary commentary on Paul the Apostle's Second Letter to the Corinthians. There is little debate that it was probably the Corinthian church that caused Paul more heartache than any other of the churches over which he had authority. Indeed, the language of correspondence in Paul's letters, both the first and second, testifies to the profound gravity of circumstances prevalent in Corinth.

Autorenporträt
Barton J. Adkins is a native of North Carolina where he resides in Sophia, the Piedmont region of the state. The son and grandson of ministers themselves, at the young age of sixteen he accepted a clear calling to a life of preaching the Word of God. Though classically trained and practicing as a Doctor of Pharmacy, he is devoted in his role as Pastor of the growing church he was raised in. He is aided in ministry by his wife and is the father of two daughters and a son. Following after his devotion to God, family, and the church body, Barton is a passionate student of Biblical history and archaeology and is currently at work on other volumes for publication. It is his desire for the Word that drives him to examine history through the lens of Biblical truth and share the resulting conclusions through his love of writing. He hopes you share this passion for Searching the Scriptures and that you enjoy this commentary.
