Autorenporträt
Der Autor Dieter Wilms, geboren 1954 in Mönchengladbach, ist ausgebildeter Maschinenschlosser. Nach seiner Zeit bei der Bundeswehr ließ er sich zum Fahrlehrer ausbilden und arbeitete vierzig Jahre in dem Beruf, die meiste Zeit als selbstständiger Fahrschulinhaber. In dem Rahmen brachte er 4000 Fahrschülern das Fahren bei. Der verheiratete Vater einer Tochter nutzt seine Pension nicht nur, um seinen Hobbys ¿ dem Autofahren und Lesen ¿ nachzugehen. Vielmehr verfasste er sein Erstlingswerk ¿In einem Meer aus Blut und Tränen¿ und ließ damit seinen langgehegten Wunsch in Erfüllung gehen.
