Autorenporträt
K. L. Johnston received a BA in English with a History minor from the University of South Carolina, Aiken. She worked in a wide variety of occupations and callings from make-up artist to gallery owner and family historian. She is now retired from her final venture of dealing in art and antiques. Ms. Johnston is an ordained deacon in her home church where she helped develop their prayer program and serves as a teacher and classroom facilitator. Her poetry, devotional prayers and photography have appeared in small literary magazines, church newsletters and in-house magazines. A mom and a grandmother, she lives with her husband in the sandhills of South Carolina near the Savannah River. She enjoys exploring the world with her camera, writing, and gardening under the careful supervision of her two dogs and three cats.
