In addition to medicine, he is educated in International Business including cultural studies of China, Latin America, Russia and The Middle East. This gives rise to his joy of including foreignness, business, medicine and Christianity in his writing. Married to the love of his life for more than 34 years, Steven and his wife raised six strong and good-looking children of above-average wit-and one loving dog-in Upstate New York.
